This visa requires additional documents, such as an employment letter from the Indian employer, university acceptance letter, or research permits from the Indian government.

 

Finally, for those that are going to India to get married, a wedding visa is required. This visa is valid for up to 6 months and provides ample time for two people of different nationalities to get married. An invitation from the groom or bride is required as part of the visa application, along with a wedding invitation, proof of eligibility (i.e. marriage certificate of the bride or groom in the home country), and financial documents (proof of financial means, such as bank statements).
