In this article, I will review the Apple AirPods Pro headphones and let you know if they are worth the price. I’ve used AirPods for several years and enjoyed them, so I didn’t hesitate to get Apple AirPods Pro when they became available. I purchased these headphones due to their ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and pretty long battery life so research on the feature is important rather than searching on Brie Larson measurements. Let’s examine what attracted my attention to these headphones.
Should I buy AirPods Pro on Black Friday?
Airpods black friday can be an excellent time to purchase AirPods at a discount. AirPods were previously available on the Biggest Shopping Day of the Year for less than $90, while AirPods Pro were available for well under $200.
Features of Apple AirPods Pro headphones:
Design:
I appreciate the updated design of the AirPods on the AirPods Pro. I also appreciate that the headphones’ feet are thinner and less apparent while worn (especially outdoors). The new, elongated casing design is far more fashionable than its predecessor. I believe they look better overall. I further supplied a fashionable cat sleeve for the headphone case.
Comfort:
The Apple AirPods Pro headphones are significantly more comfy in the ear than the AirPods. Compared to Sony’s “travel headphones,” the Apple AirPods Pro are far more comfy. The Pro headphones, unlike the original AirPods, come with three interchangeable eartips of varying sizes. The tips are tapered to fit to the contour of the ear canal and prevent the AirPods Pro from falling out. Consequently, the headphones will also be suited for physical activity. Additionally, the headphones are comfy for long listening sessions.
Sound Quality:
I do not profess to be an expert, but they sound decent. The sound is pure and distinct. However, I believe the AirPods Pro’s Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode capabilities represent the most significant upgrade. The latter did not excite me because I already possessed the Sony WH-1000XM3, which defined the greatest ANC at the time. It was the same case with these headphones’ successors. However, Apple’s Transparency Mode is significantly superior to Sony’s.
I primarily use them when I’m out and about (walking, shopping, business excursions), so the mode of transparency is useful. When we are off the road and in the countryside, I can switch active noise canceling back on. This allows me to hear traffic clearly when walking down the street. The best of all worlds, therefore, when you need silence to focus but yet want to hear your surroundings.

Compatibility:
Regarding compatibility, I would want to note that I experienced problems connecting them to the Teams app on a Windows PC. They function flawlessly in the Teams for Mac application, but they are not a supported device in Teams, therefore if you intend to use them for teleconferences, I will advise you against purchasing them. In the Apple ecosystem, they integrate well with all of your devices. I have successfully linked them to an Android phone, but you do not receive that feature.
Wireless & Fast Charging:
The Pro headphones can be charged wirelessly, unlike the AirPods, because they come with a wireless charging case, which is a nice feature if you already have wireless chargers. The lightning wire can still be used to charge your headphones. The casing delivers a battery life of over 24 hours.
The headphones of the Pro will alert your iPhone when they need to be evaluated and may be set with any Qi-certified charger.
It offers a fast-charging feature, which is a wonderful feature. 5 minutes of charging should yield around one hour of playback time. I was able to test this feature when I forgot to charge my headphones and needed to use them while walking, and I found it to be convenient. Initially for music listening, then for phone calls.
Conclusion:
The Apple AirPods Pro are the ideal headphones for me. The additional active noise cancellation and transparency mode are beneficial additions, particularly when taken into consideration alongside the rest of Apple’s ecosystem. They are also lovely and compact, allowing you to slip them into your pocket as you exit the building. One thing about the headphones that I do have to complain, though, is the existence of the lightning connector. We can only hope that Apple will finish up with that endeavor very soon.
